I just returned from the eWomenNetwork International Conference in Dallas and boy, am I pumped! I was networking with 3,000 fabulous business women who are doing fantastic things.  If you’ve ever heard the saying, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”, then believe that it’s true as I saw some business ideas that I would have laughed at a while back. For instance, two young twenty-somethings launched their business of sending bouncing balls through the mail but you can send a message on them.  How creative is that! Also, the true art of giving back and making a difference in someone else’s life was greatly evident as there were a lot of women who have developed nonprofit agencies and they are helping children, abused women, kids from Russia, and animals. 

I heard some fantastic speakers, like Marci Shimoff, Robin Spizman and Michael Gerber, who gave advice and inspiration on everything from how to be successful in both business and life, to finding capital for your business, to publishing, to networking, to being happy, to finding your “glow”.  I came away truly looking at my business, and not just as me doing business, and know I will be successful!  We had the chance to party at Nordstroms, where they had a DJ, food and drink, and free make-overs.  Have you ever had cheerleaders greet you when you went shopping?  I did! They also held a big last-night party - Chocolate Decadence - well, you take it from there. 

The best part was networking with all the women, who were from every state in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.  I came away with some great ideas and great friends.  This conference showed me the power of women and that anything is possible - it all starts with us and what we want to make of it.
